We take your personal information seriously. Learn how we collect, use and protect your data, and the choices you have.

01. Who this policy covers

This policy describes personal information handled through the Qabiltu matrimonial website and customer services. It applies to visitors, candidates, and parents or guardians who manage a profile. Our contact details appear below for privacy questions and requests.

02. Information you provide

Registration uses a phone number, an OTP, and parent or guardian details. Your profile may include the candidate’s name, age, location, education, occupation, family background, religious preferences, lifestyle, marriage preferences, and information you choose to add.

If you upload photos, identity or income documents, send proposals, use family chat, or contact support, those files and messages become part of the service records. Only share information you are entitled to provide, with the candidate’s knowledge and consent. Do not include unnecessary document numbers or other people’s private information in a public profile.

03. Why information is used

Information is used to authenticate your account, maintain profiles, suggest introductions, process proposals and family conversations, review uploaded documents, respond to support requests, and administer subscriptions and payments. Technical request information may also be processed to operate the service, investigate misuse, and troubleshoot errors.

Registration and account messages, including OTPs, are used to provide the service. A choice about sharing a photo on WhatsApp is separate from a request for account assistance. Contact us to discuss communication preferences or withdraw a previously given sharing consent.

04. Profile visibility and family privacy

The website includes public profile browsing. Information shown on a public profile can be seen by visitors without signing in. Do not assume that every profile field is private; check the information shown on your profile and contact us if something should be corrected or removed.

Photo and document access may depend on the media type, review status, available controls, and your sharing choices. Where a WhatsApp sharing option is offered, choose Always, After acceptance, or Never according to your preference. Do not upload a file until you are comfortable with its intended use.

Family-chat messages are available to the room participants and may be accessible to assigned staff for assistance or moderation. Do not treat family chat as an end-to-end encrypted private messaging service. A recipient can copy information they receive; never forward another family’s photos, biodata, or messages without permission.

05. Payments and service providers

Razorpay handles payment checkout. The application receives order, payment, signature, and subscription information for verification. Enter payment credentials only in the payment provider’s checkout, and never send card details, UPI PINs, or OTPs to support.

Hosting, account messaging, payment, and support providers may process information needed to deliver their services. Clicking a WhatsApp or map link opens a separate service with its own privacy practices. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or to address a valid legal request.

06. Cookies and browser storage

The application uses local browser storage to remember access and refresh tokens for your signed-in session. Application data may also be held temporarily in memory while you use the site. Signing out removes the stored authentication tokens.

Clearing site storage or using a private browser session can affect sign-in and saved local settings. External payment and messaging services may use their own cookies or storage under their respective policies.

07. Your choices and requests

You can update available profile fields and manage uploaded files using your customer profile. For access, correction, account deletion, consent withdrawal, or a concern about disclosure, email our contact address with the subject Privacy request and identify your account using your registered phone number.

We may ask for proportionate information to confirm that a request comes from the account holder or an authorised person. Do not send an OTP or password. If you are the candidate and a family member manages the profile, you can contact us directly with a consent or safety concern.

Some payment, dispute, fraud-prevention, or legal records may need to be retained after an account is closed. Deletion from active services does not necessarily remove records immediately from backups or copies lawfully held by others. Ask us about the records relevant to your request.

08. Adults, security, and updates

Qabiltu is for adults who are legally eligible to marry. Profiles for minors are not permitted. If you believe a child’s information has been submitted, contact us so it can be investigated.

Keep your device secure and never share login codes. No online service can promise absolute security. Report suspicious access or accidental disclosure promptly. This policy may be updated as the service changes; the revision date is shown above.
