Faith. Dignity. Consent.

Our community values put sincere intentions, family participation, and each candidate’s choice at the heart of the journey towards nikah.

01. Sincere intentions

Use Qabiltu with a genuine intention to explore marriage. Be truthful, communicate respectfully, and take decisions with care. The platform is not intended for casual dating, exploitation, or financial solicitation.

02. Family involvement, with consent

We encourage the involvement of parents, a wali, or trusted family members in introductions. Family involvement should support the adult candidate’s informed and freely given choice, never replace it. Either person may decline a proposal or withdraw from a conversation without pressure.

Questions about guardianship, nikah requirements, or a particular religious ruling should be discussed with a qualified scholar you trust. These community guidelines are not a fatwa or a claim of religious certification.

03. Haya and privacy

Choose modest, appropriate profile content. Respect each family’s comfort with photographs, biodata, and communication. Obtain permission before sharing another person’s information, including on WhatsApp.

Public profile information can be visible to visitors. Review what you share, use the available media-sharing settings, and contact support about visibility concerns. No person should be pressured to disclose a photo or a private document.

04. Honesty, kindness, and fairness

Disclose material facts honestly and avoid misleading claims about identity, marital status, work, or family circumstances. Discuss expectations with courtesy, including differences in religious practice. Do not demean people based on community, income, appearance, or background.

Dowry demands, coercion, threats, and abusive messages have no place here. Mehr should be discussed respectfully by the people concerned; it must not be used as a reason for harassment or financial exploitation.

05. Meet and communicate safely

Involve trusted family members, verify important information independently, and arrange initial meetings in appropriate, safe settings. Never transfer money to a prospective match because of an urgent story, investment promise, or supposed verification fee.

Do not share OTPs, UPI PINs, or banking credentials. A staff member’s or member’s claim should not replace your own checks. Keep evidence of suspicious activity and stop contact if you feel unsafe.

06. Speak up

Report suspected impersonation, misuse of photos, coercion, harassment, or a profile created without consent through customer support or the contact page. Include only the information needed to identify and investigate the concern.

If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the police rather than waiting for a platform reply.
